Getting Help

Once you’ve set up a budget, it’s a good idea to talk to someone you trust about what your budget means. A budget should help you understand how much money you have to spend each month, what you have to pay (like bills and stuff), and how much is left over to save or spend on other things.

We suggest you talk to your:

  • Youthhood Guide (if you're exploring this site with an adult)
  • Teacher
  • Guidance Counselor
  • Mom or Dad
  • Another family member you trust
  • A friend who has already done this

One of these people (or more than one) can help you to understand your budget and how to use it!
