Setting up a Budget

If you really want to be independent, you have to figure out how to handle your money and how to budget for the things that you may want in the future. That doesn’t mean you can’t ask for help –- just that you have to learn how to be responsible for your cash!

Hey, if you’re spending all your money on pizza and movies and then can’t pay your rent and electric bill, you’re not doing so great!

It’s not always easy to plan for things you might need. It helps to create a budget: a worksheet that helps you organize everything you do with your money.
