Knowing it's Important

Communication is important to talk about. Learning positive and healthy ways to communicate with others is a good skill. Developing this skill requires practice. Practice requires a commitment, which requires motivation, which requires a reason why you want to learn to communicate well in the first place!

The best reasons we can think of to learn how to communicate well are so that everyone understands you, you can get what you need, and most of all, you don’t have to repeat yourself. Another good reason to learn how to communicate well is so that you can say the right things when you are angry or upset about something. When you get nervous in any situation you can “fumble” on words or not really say what you want to.
